matthew turned 3 last tuesday. i don't know why that feels older than michael being 4. i guess it's because he's the younger one. he's gonna be a fun guy when he grows up. wouldn't surprise me if he's the life of every party he goes to. real animated. we found out that he measures in the 79th percentile for height and 90th for weight. i hope he likes me when he's a teenager...

patrick - i'll try to work it out. i'd then like to post a picture of you wearing it, preferably out in public, on the blog...
tim - it was an incredible cake, and the top was missing by the time we got that picture. it's a treasure chest and had a lid on it.

i think you're right - life of the party when he grows up. for serious. love that kid (and all your kids!) - so fun!
matthew was the hilight of my morning on sunday - i asked him if i could get a hug, and he comes running toward me and jumps on me and gives me a huge hug! YEAH chicken nugget!!!
