i guess you had to be there yesterday for this to make any sense... sorry
anonymity isn't enough, we need community...
the gospel's supposed to continue to change us, but it's hard...
this breaks my heart and makes me think a whole lot about how I am teaching my children to understand Jesus...

Life Pointe put up this site for their latest series.
I keep turning that last one around in my head. In one sense, shouldn't the gospel make us hate ourselves? After all, the heart of the gospel is that we are sinners who need grace and need to become more like Christ, right? However, once we truly accept that we should be able to move forward with our new identity as children of God and enjoy Christ's imputed righteousness.
Of course, I'm writing as someone with no context for how you preached about this, so maybe I should shut up now. That last one does tell me that I need to make sure that my kids get the gospel presented faithfully to them.
