wow...
nothing like the International Christian Retail Show to indulge my cynicism of all things labelled 'Christian'. i've been listening to Relevant magazine's podcast (recommend it) and they recently went to this Christian retail show and this site has pictures of all the junk they found there. it's pretty incredible that people manufacture some of this stuff, especially Praise Dance Revolution (the 'Christian' alternative to DDR) and the 'My Loving Jesus' doll (i'm pretty convinced the 2nd commandment is in the bible to prevent stuff like this from happening). i tried to include some pics here but my computer is refusing to cooperate (either that or someone clogged up the internet tubes again).
seriously... i don't get this stuff
i don't know how often they change the site but scroll down and you'll see the pics

Between this post and your Left Behind video game post I feel like what you are really doing is compiling your Christmas wish list for this year. "Listen guys, I really don't want that, I think it's awful....and I really don't want that or that either. And definitely whatever you do, please don't get me that." Reverse psychology. Very clever.
I'm on to you. I will be sure to get as many of these items for you as possible. It will be your best Christmas ever.
i do have a collection of Jesus action figures/bobbleheads that would love to be joined by a Jesus doll...
unbelievable...
Hey...I gave you a Jesus doll so your bobblehead Jesus would have someone to share scripture and fellowship with.
Wow... life is so much fuller now that Jeffrey has come back into the blog world... don't you all agree? The highlight of my day is sitting here reading these blogs and laughing out loud... I love you guys!
I think she meant aside from the obvious highlight of getting to wake up next to me.
Um... yes dear, of course that's what I meant. Just like the highlight of your day is going to sleep next to your smokin' hot wife... oh, that's right... these blogs and flickr often hinder you from going to bed when I do... dang those internet tubes!!!
